Fulham were rarely extended as they overcame the part-timers Nes Soknar Itrottarfelag of the Faroe Islands 3-0 at Craven Cottage in the first leg of their Europa League qualifying tie. This healthy three goal advantage should be more than enough for when the two teams meet again in the second leg next week.
The goals began flowing just after the half-hour when Damien Duff scored to confirm the Cottagers superiority.
Two further goals after the break were no more than Martin Jol's team deserved. Danny Murphy doubled advantage from the penalty spot after Andrew Johnson was fouled.
And Johnson it was who made it three shortly afterwards.
