Euro2016: Real Madrid star Bale urges improvement from high-flying Wales

Real Madrid star Gareth Bale has urged his Wales teammates to improve their performance for this week's Euro2016 semi-final against Portugal.

The Dragons have surprised everyone with their impressive run to the last four of the tournament, but Bale insists that his teammates can produce even better more as the magnitude of the matches increases.

"We certainly hope we can get better," said Bale, who helped Wales to a stunning 3-1 win over Belgium in the quarter-final on the weekend.

"We have been having meetings to talk about the areas we can improve on.

"We know we played a good game against an incredible team in Belgium, but we still want to keep progressing, we still want to keep improving.

"If we can improve those little one-percenters all the way through the team and the performance it will only help our game.

"You can never be totally satisfied; you can always improve in football. Whatever level you are at, that is what we will keep trying to do on Wednesday."
