Real Madrid star Gareth Bale has claimed that confidence is running high in the Wales camp ahead of the Round of 16 clash against Northern Ireland at Euro2016.
Bale feels that the game between the two home nations will be like a typical British encounter and is confident they can get the job done if they produce what they did in their 3-0 win over Russia in their final group stage game.
"We know it's going to be difficult, we obviously know a lot about Northern Ireland," he said.
"A lot of their players play in England so they are going to know us also.
"It will be a very British type game and if we can match the performance of Russia, we have a very good chance.
"Confidence is high after a great performance and victory against Russia. We're all excited again. It's another new challenge and experience and one I'm sure everyone will relish."
