Cristiano Ronaldo's frustrating start to Euro 2016 continued as he and Portugal were held to another draw against Austria in Group F.
Austria squandered a great opportunity in the 3rd minute when Harnick headed a gaping chance wide.
Nani then glanced over in the box as both sides cancelled each other out.
The winger then should have scored after finding himself one-on-one but was denied by goalkeeper Almer.
Ronaldo then missed another golden chance but his side-footed shot went wide.
Austria started the second half positively with Stefan Ilsanker sending a rasping drive at Rui Patricio.
Ronaldo was unlucky with two chances in a matter of minutes with a powerful shot being turned away by Almer and then from the resulting corner the Real Madrid superstar had a towering header cleared off the line.
And his frustration was to get even worse when he missed a penalty in the 78th minute as his effort cannoned off the post.
The Portuguese captain's poor night was capped off late on when he headed into the net only for the goal to be disallowed.
