Manchester United skipper Wayne Rooney has assumed added responsibilities in the England camp for the ongoing Euro2016.
The Daily Telegraph reports that Rooney is acting as a member of coach Roy Hodgson's backroom staff during the tournament.
He has supposedly taken on a role of mentor to the less-experienced members of the squad and has been taking a lot of interest in tactical discussions with Hodgson.
The 30-year-old, who didn't start against Slovakia, is set to feature in the starting XI against Iceland in the Round of 16 clash in Nice on Monday.
