France star Antoine Greizmann was thrilled to put his Champions League final penalty miss behind him after leading his nation to a 2-0 win over Germany in the Euro2016 semi-final.
The Atletico Madrid star missed his spot-kick in the Champions League final defeat to Real Madrid in May, however, he made no such mistake on Thursday night when converting a first-half penalty to give his nation a 1-0 lead in Marseille.
Griezmann then completed the score line by adding another in the second half of the game to take his tournament tally to 6.
He said: "It's a whole group effort. It's thanks to the group we're in the final and we're going to make the most of tonight.
"I missed my penalty in the Champions League final and I really wanted to make sure I put it in the back of the net tonight.
"I'm still very far off Michel Platini and hopefully one day I can get closer to that."
