EURO2016: Euro tunnel problems causing Wales fans worries over making kick-off

Wales fans fearing they could miss the game due to problems at the Eurotunnel, have been calling for the 20:00 BST kick off to be delayed, with some fans in tears amid "chaotic scenes" at the terminal.

There are also delays at Folkestone for a lot of Welsh fans trying to get to France by ferry for their Euro 2016 quarter final with Belgium.

However, Uefa has issued a statement saying the kick off time will go ahead as planned.

"Uefa is aware of the current delays in the Eurotunnel and has gathered further information from the Welsh FA, local authorities and the tunnel operator.

"It appears that the vast majority of fans with tickets will arrive on time at the stadium in Lille.

"The match is therefore scheduled to go ahead as planned with a kick-off time of 20.00 BST.

"Uefa will continue to closely monitor any developments around this situation."
