Harry Kane is not being affected by a tiresome season at club level, according to England manager Roy Hodgson.
The Tottenham striker has struggled in the opening two matches of Euro2016 and was even hooked at half-time of the 2-1 win over Wales following a lacklustre 45 minutes.
Hodgson was questioned on Kane's fitness in the lead-up to Monday night's final Group B fixture against Slovakia but insisted that the Spurs ace was in fine fettle.
"I have spoken to Harry, he has been very very good in training over the last couple of days," Hodgson said.
"I don't think he is suffering any more from the season than any other who has played on a regular basis.
"We have some players who of course haven't played on a regular basis either through injury or some other reason but there is no problem with him in that respect."
