Eden Hazard has stated that he does not view himself as the star of the Belgium national team.

Belgium have endured a roller coaster campaign in the European Championships so far but star man Hazard has put in fine performances in both games for the Red Devils.

Chelsea's Hazard undoubtedly seems to be the talisman for the Red Devils but he does not agree with such a notion and has stated that every member of the team has an equally important role to play in France.

The Belgium captain said: "Despite the loss against Italy I was satisfied with my match and against Ireland we had very good moments. Up to now I've been satisfied with my play.

"I don't see myself as the star of the team. The team must shine on its own. Everyone has an important contribution to make."

Hazard and his Belgium teammates meet Sweden in their final Group E match in Nice on Wednesday night.
