Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez will be handed £25 million to spend in the January market - even if they're knocked out of Europe.
The Reds must win their remaining three games to save their Euro dream.
"I don't think going out of the Champions League affects my spending," said the Spaniard. "In meetings with the Americans we talked about everything but not really about money from the Champions League.
"Okay, we have plans and if you qualify and win more games then the plan will be easier because you have more money.
"But this competition is not a priority for money. The Americans are being very supportive towards me."
