Joe Hart has claimed his England team-mates want manager Roy Hodgson to stay on beyond Euro 2016 when his contract ends.
When asked by Standard Sport if he would like to see the former Fulham and Liverpool manager carry on into next season, Hart said: "Of course. It is hard to talk about what will go on after this tournament because we are living in this bubble of wanting to do well in the here and now, but we want him to stay.
"It goes hand in hand: Roy wants to do well because he wants England to do well. The players want to do well for him and for the country. If we succeed like we want to, then Roy's future takes care of itself.
"He's been great for me, he has backed me the whole way. We have worked well and I have enjoyed working under him. Hopefully, we get something good together this summer.
"The team spirit has always been good. I have never walked into a frosty England camp. That's nothing new but the current vibe is very good. The only way we can make it even more special is if we do well."
