Euell disappointed seeing Blackpool fall at home to Arsenal

Jason Euell was disappointed seeing Blackpool lose at home to Arsenal.

The striker, currently on-loan at Doncaster, believes a high defensive line and a lack of mental awareness led to the Seasiders repeatedly letting the Gunners have one-on-one chances with Richard Kingson.

Euell told talkSPORT: "Everyone knows how we play and what we're capable of doing going forward but now we need to tighten up off the ball, that's when it always happens, when players are going forward and concentration lacks.

"I was sitting there at one point thinking, 'you're playing against quality opposition, at one point they will get in and score from the defensive line we were playing'.

"It's just the chances we always give to the other teams and now I think it's going to be hard work over the next couple of games to try and tighten up the defensive side of things and the organisation all around the pitch."
