Euan Holden signs with Denmark’s Vejle BK
Former New Mexico defender Euan Holden has signed with Danish club Velje BK.
The brother of recent Bolton Wanderers recruit Stuart, Euan was drafted by Stuart’s former club Houston Dynamo in the SuperDraft last month but will now suit up for the Danish First Division outfit.
22-year old Holden signed a one-year deal with Velje instead of signing with the Dynamo and the coach of his new club, Mats Gren, was delighted with the acquisition.
“Euan Holden is a young and very promising player who has the qualities we're looking for right now,” Gren told the club's official site. “He is strong, quick and has the will to develop. Meanwhile, the big plus is that he is an all-around player who can cover several positions."
