Kelvin Etuhu was thrilled with his Manchester City debut in Saturday's 1-1 draw with Wigan Athletic.
"It was a great experience, I was very, very fortunate to get the chance," he told City's website.
With Division Two, reserve league and Under 18 experience under his belt, Etuhu is in a good position to see the differences between those and the Premier League, and he adds:
"The main thing I've noticed is that you have to concentrate the whole time. You have also got to try to forget about the fans, you can't think too much about what the atmosphere is like, you have just got to think about what you're doing. It's a completely different feeling and experience to anything I've had before, but it's part of the learning curve and I enjoyed it.
"It's physical and definitely a bit quicker, you have to be ready for the pass coming to you a lot sooner than at any other level. Also, the difference in the quality of players is huge.
"You always have to think one step ahead in football, but what I found out on Saturday is that you have less time to do that, you have to really focus on trying to make the right decisions with the ball when you get it."
