Samuel Eto'o must accept a 50 per cent pay-cut to leave Anzhi for Chelsea.
The Cameroon international striker is on €20 million-a-year at Anzhi, but is now in negotiations over a free transfer as the club's owner reigns in spending.
Eto'o has talked up the prospect of playing for Jose Mourinho at Chelsea, but must accept a drastic reduction in wages to move to London.
The striker's agents have also offered him to AS Monaco, but their signing of Radamel Falcao from Atletico Madrid appears to have shut the door on that prospect.
