Eto'o: Mourinho reunion made up my mind over Chelsea move

Chelsea striker Samuel Eto'o is delighted to be playing again for manager Jose Mourinho.

Chelsea striker Samuel Eto'o is delighted to be playing again for manager Jose Mourinho.

Having been part of the Inter Milan side that won the treble, which included the Champions League, under Mourinho, Eto'o admitted the decision to link up again with the 'Special One' was pivotal in his transfer.

"Every great player who had a career like I had would have gone to a club like Chelsea. Mourinho weighed on my decision to come around 80 per cent because I had worked with him at Inter Milan," he said.

"Jose had already allowed me to make a good choice in the summer of 2009.

"A choice that was difficult because I left Barcelona and I had to choose the right club at a time when I had to prove that what I had in Barcelona was not an accident.

"This went extremely well. We had a fantastic team and we practically won everything."
