AC Milan are locked in talks with Barcelona star Samuel Eto'o. Gazzetta dello Sport says a representative of Eto'o was in Italy earlier this month for a series of meetings with Milan officials.
The talks are preliminary, but Milan chiefs know that the Cameroon international will quit Barca at the end of the season. He has no plans to accept a new contract offer from the Spanish giants.
For now, Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani isn't seeking to push through negotiations, but Eto'o is on the agenda for the summer market.
"Last summer I was not exactly welcome," said Eto'o, "because some people inside the club did not have confidence in me. Today no one doubts me, people forget quickly."
