Samuel Eto'o is upset with how he has been treated by Barcelona since the end of the season. Eto'o is the subject of a £25.5 million offer from Manchester City, but is now expected to dig in his heels and see out the final 12 months of his existing Barca deal before leaving on a Bosman in 2010.
Sport says Eto'o believes the commitment he's shown Barca over the last five seasons has not been reciprocated by president Joan Laporta and his directors. The Cameroon ace was shocked that Laporta went public this week with City's "stratospheric" offer, convinced Barca had been encouraging the big-spending Premiership club to make an offer.
Eto'o believes he hasn't received the affection from Barca he feels he deserves and is now considering his options.
