Samuel Eto'o had no complaints over the boos and whistles from Barcelona fans during last night's 6-0 thrashing of Valencia.
Barca fans made their feelings known after another trophyless season as they waved their white handkerchiefs and booed the home players, despite the performance they produced.
"If you'd asked me two years ago if the fans would show the white handkerchiefs to Joan Laporta and the players, I would have said no way. Back then we played in an incredible way, but what you do today will not be worth anything tomorrow. The public is right to be angry with the team we have ..."
The Cameroon striker added: "We know what they expected of us, we have not been able to achieve anything. Now we want to finish in the best possible way."
Eto'o, along with Barca midfielder Deco, both collected yellow cards during the game, so suspending them for Wednesday night's clash against new champions Real Madrid.
