Stoke City winger Matthew Etherington is desperate to make amends after serving his three-match ban.
Etherington admits he was "stupid" to be sent-off against Sunderland last month.
Stoke have been unbeaten in their three games without Etherington, so the £2m signing from West Ham knows he isn't guaranteed a place.
But he is desperate to show what he can do ... and to help City move a step closer to Premier League survival.
He told The Sentinel: "I am raring to go and ready to pay back for those three games I missed with some good performances and, hopefully, a couple of goals as well.
"It's been a long three games. I've been itching to get back in and can't wait to get going again.
"The lads have done really well since I have been out, so maybe I will struggle to get back into the team.
"They've got some great results and have given us a major chance of staying up.
"It is still very tight down there, as it was when I first came here. I suppose West Brom are getting a little bit adrift now, but we are right among it and in a good position, so it is up to us."
