Stoke City winger Matthew Etherington admits it could be an exciting few months at the Brit.

The wideman wants to hit a consistent streak again and show Potters fans what he is capable of.

Etherington said: "I know, first and foremost, that some of my performances haven't been good enough.

"It's frustrating as a winger sometimes but sometimes it can just be the way the game is going and you can be a bit isolated out there.

"But we've got some big game coming up and this looks like being a pivotal month.

"Going into March, we could still be in the FA Cup, the Europa League and pushing on in the league. We've got it all to play for."
