Matthew Etherington was happy with his goal in Stoke City's draw at Wigan Athletic.
The winger made it three goals in his last three appearances but has his sights set much higher.
The Stoke winger said: "The club and I are going through a good patch.
"My best scoring record in a season is seven and if I can beat that I shall be happy.
"It is important we all chip in and help the strikers. People might have thought the clash with Wigan might be boring but it was anything but that.
"We managed a point away from home, which is always good news. Yet the fact we were disappointed with the result shows how much progress we feel we've made.
"We are moving on as a club and have brought in good players".
