Stoke City winger Matthew Etherington is fed-up with their critics.
Tottenham fans criticised City's direct style and Stoke were slammed when Ryan Shotton revealed a towelling vest under his shirt, which he used to dry the ball before taking long throws.
But Etherington - who scored his first goals of the season against Tottenham - says the critics do not do Stoke justice and he takes pride in their recent displays.
He said: "We play a certain way at times and it works for us.
"But look at the game on Sunday. There were times when we got the ball on the floor but people don't notice that.
"We have good players. We wouldn't do what we are doing without good players."
