Skysports.com reports that Celtic have a watching brief on Estonia international keeper Sergei Pareiko ahead of the opening of the January transfer window. The 33-year-old shot-stopper is currently first choice for his country and will be available on a free transfer when his contract with FC Tom Tomsk expires at the end of next month.
The Hoops currently have on-loan keeper Fraser Forster from Newcastle United between the sticks, although The Magpies have the option of recalling him to St James' Park in two months' time.
Celtic are not the only club vying for Pareiko's services and a number of teams around Europe are thought to be chasing his signature, however, the SPL giants are his preferred choice.
