Michael Essien was happy for Chelsea's youngsters to be given their chance in victory over Wolves.
Fabio Borini, Gael Kakuta and Nemanja Matic all saw action as second-half substitutes.
Essien told chelseafc.com: "It is great to have some young ones coming up and they put in some good shows this game. They show how big our squad is and we have a good future with the young ones.
"You could see that Kakuta is a very good player. He has a long way to go and he has a great future with Chelsea so hopefully he can keep going like that and get into the first team."
