The agent of Michael Essien cannot guarantee the Ghana ace staying with Chelsea.

Essien has been linked with Juventus and agent Fabien Piveteau has refused to shut the door on the prospect.

He told julive24: "Right now there is nothing with the Italian club but in football nothing is for certain.

"Why is it said that Michael is not happy at Chelsea? Actually he's going through a difficult time, but only because he is recovering from an injury. Just yesterday I met the leaders of the club who told me they are happy with him.

"His future may also depend on who is to assume the coaching role of Chelsea."
