Espanyol winger Riera won't rule out Spurs move

Former Manchester City winger Albert Riera has refused to rule out a move back to the Premier League after hearing Tottenham are tracking him.

The 25-year-old has been in superb form with his parent club Espanyol, though, and earned his first Spain cap earlier this year.

Espanyol are now keen to tie Riera down to a longer contract - his current one expires in 2009 - but a host of clubs, including Spurs, are reported to have sent scouts to watch him in the Barcelona derby at the weekend.

Riera himself is calm about his future but admits he could not rule out a move back to England.

"I do not say anything about those things [stories]," he said.

"It does demonstrate that I am working at a good level.

"I know the Premier League and this competition has a lot of quality and it is not only about the money."
