Espanyol striker Luis Garcia has become the first player to score at the club's new Cornellà-El Prat stadium.

Garcia struck the first of Espanyol's three goals in their victory over Liverpool last night and said: "It's very difficult to describe what I felt and what was going through my head at the time. It is impossible.

"I am very happy for now being in the club's history books. I'm very proud of what has been done today."
