Shunsuke Nakamura is experiencing some difficulty adapting to life in Spain according to his club manager Mauricio Pochettino.
The Japan international joined La Liga club Espanyol from Celtic in June this year but has struggled to adapt the lifestyle which in turn has seen his form suffer.
"It's more of a cultural problem than anything else," Pochettino told the club's official website.
The 31-year old midfielder has failed to score in his ten appearances for Espanyol and the manager admits they are trying to find a way to help him settle better and increase his output on game day.
"We are talking to the club to see how we can help him and find a solution. He has been here for quite a few months and the adaptation is taking longer than expected," Pochettino added.
