Espanyol forward Jose Callejon has admitted he is keen on a move to England.

The 23-year old has been linked with a shift to Wigan Athletic with the Latics making enquiries to the players agent and he has welcomed the transfer talk.

For me this is good praise because I have been working hard this season," he said in the Spanish press.

"If the operation is positive for all parties then I am open to the challenge of the Premier League."

Callejon has previously said he is keen to remain with Espanyol but it is believed the club is looking to bring in some quick cash to ease some financial troubles and could let him go for around £4.5million.
