Espanyol are chasing Fiorentina winger Alessio Cerci.
Sport says Espanyol are ready to make enquiries about a possible transfer next month.
Cerci, formerly of AS Roma, has impressed in Tuscany over the last 18 months and is also interesting Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini.
