Espanyol are closing in on a deal for River Plate midfielder Oscar Ahumada.
The 26 year-old came close to joining Espanyol in January, only for River to price him out of a move.
However, with coach Mauricio Pochettino's team now assured of their Primera Liga status, Espanyol have revived talks about a summer deal for Ahumada.
