Espanyol have opened the door to signing permanently on-loan Inter Milan midfielder Philippe Coutinho.

The Brazilian has impressed since his January arrival.

"Coutinho could remain with us," Espanyol sporting director Ramon Planes commented. "We still have to talk to Inter about it, but we will give it a go and nothing is impossible."
