Espanyol have signed Bologna striker Pablo Daniel Osvaldo on-loan to the end of this season.

Osvaldo has struggled to find space at the Dall'Ara since his move from Fiorentina.

"Osvaldo no longer wanted to stay here, so we sped up the process of this transfer," explained Bologna director general Luca Baraldi.

"Our intention is to replace him with another striker, finding someone who is suited to our needs."

Espanyol have paid an undisclosed sum to have Osvaldo on loan until the end of the season.
