Espanyol fear still losing Man City target Aaron Martin this week

Espanyol management remain nervous over the prospect of losing Aaron Martin this week.

AS says Manchester City are interested in the left-back, though are yet to follow up their initial enquiry with a firm bid.

However, Espanyol coach Quique Sanchez Flores concedes he "cannot assume" anything this week, particularly with Aaron away on international duty with Spain U21.

"I'm very realistic and I'm not talking about assumptions. When the offers arrive, it will be time to act and value. The reality is Leganés, the first match at home and that will complicate things. We have to play a good game to win," said Sanchez Flores.

City can ferry Aaron away from Espanyol in the coming days for €10-15m.
