Espanyol are eyeing Genoa striker Rodrigo Palacio.
The Argentina international missed out on a move to Inter Milan last summer and now Espanyol are preparing a bid for the January market.
Espanyol haven't adequately replaced AS Roma's Pablo Daniel Osvaldo and see Palacio as the ideal signing.
