Espanyol are demanding Tottenham cough up for Pau Lopez.
The London Evening Standard says after failing with a £3milion bid, Spurs proposed paying £450,000 for a one-year loan, with an option to buy Lopez for £6m next summer.
However, Espanyol think Lopez, who has two years left on his contract, will be worth much more after another season in La Liga.
Mauricio Pochettino is keen to bolster his options after captain and Spurs No1 Hugo Lloris was ruled out for four weeks with a hamstring injury, with Michel Vorm deputising in goal.
