Espanyol defender Hector Moreno has suffered a leg break in World Cup action for Mexico.
Héctor González Iñárritu, the director of Mexico's national teams, confirmed after the match against Holland that Moreno had fractured the tibia in his left leg.
The centre-half was expected to leave Espanyol after the World Cup, with the likes of Tottenham and Everton keen.
