Espanyol have made contact with Tottenham winger Giovani dos Santos.

Cadena Ser says Espanyol have registered their interest with Giovani's representatives about a return to Barcelona at the end of this season.

Giovani remains on the books at Spurs, but is desperate to quit after failing to get a move away last month.
