Espanyol are trawling the Serie A transfer market for a new striker.
Udinese striker Bernardo Corradi, as well as the Bologna pair of Pablo Daniel Osvaldo and Marcelo Zalayeta, have all been associated in recent weeks.
"Those names are part of our list of objectives," Espanyol sporting director Ramon Planes noted. "However, they are not the only players in the Italian championship who we are monitoring."
Although Planes admitted interest, he has insisted that his club have yet to make their move for any Serie A player.
"There are no negotiations currently underway," he told Tuttomercatoweb.com. "We are still in the evaluating stage."
