Espanyol sports chief Paco Herrera is flying to Argentina for talks with Banfield over striker Dario Cvitanich.
Herrera is prepared to offer £3.5 million for Cvitanich, though the asking price is sure to rise given the player's current form and also competition from Deportivo La Coruna.
