Espanyol sports chief Paco Herrera has confirmed the capture of Rosario Central goalkeeper Cristian Alvarez.
He said: "We have two goalkeepers and he is good enough to compete with them. His job will be to earn a start. For the information we have, we know he is a goalkeeper of genuine quality."
