Espanyol are chasing Valencia defender David Navarro.
Navarro spent last season on-loan at Real Mallorca and Espanyol want to setup a similar deal for the player this term.
Valencia are willing to do business, so long as Espanyol agree to cover 100 per cent of his wages this season.
