Espanyol are eyeing Newcastle United fullback Danny Simpson.
The Sun says Simpson reckons he is worth more than the £20,000-a-week offered last season and is heading for the exit door.
He will be free to sign a pre-contract agreement in January with Espanyol in pole position if he fancies moving to Spain.
