Espanyol are chasing AC Milan attacker Davide Di Gennaro.
Di Gennaro is regarded highly inside Italian football after impressing last season at Reggina.
Now back with Milan, the 21 year-old cannot find a way into coach Leonardo's first team with the likes of Ronaldinho, Marco Borriello and Pippo Inzaghi all ahead of him.
Espanyol are keen to take Di Gennaro on-loan for the second-half of the season.
