Espanyol have allowed midfielder Jonatas to be registered with Brazil's Flamengo on-loan for this season.
Jonatas, contracted with Espanyol until 2010, will remain the Spanish Liga club's player, however, after Flamengo refused to cough up the £1 million needed to make him a permanent signing.
