Espanyol's sporting director Ramon Planes has received bids for Pablo Daniel Osvaldo but is confused over reports of interest in Victor Ruiz. Manchester City have a watching brief on the 21 year old and he is also supposedly in the sights of Tottenham, but all this is news to Planes.

"I don't know about Manchester City's or Tottenham's interest in Victor Ruiz," he told calciomercato.it.

"I know the guy is very popular in Italy and Germany, he's a player who we like very much and would like to keep him until the end of the season.

"However, if a sizeable offer was made for the player, we know that we would have to evaluate it."

Meanwhile, Planes did confirm that there has been interest in forward Osvaldo from two Premier League clubs.

He added: "I've received two bids for him from Fulham and Blackburn but for us, he's a player not for sale."
