Tottenham fullback Kyle Naughton is a target for Leicester City boss Sven Goran Eriksson.

The Daily Mail says Eriksson is poised to make Tottenham Hotspur defender Naughton his first signing as Leicester City boss.

The 21-year-old is way down the pecking order at Spurs in his preferred right-back berth and is desperately seeking first-team football.

Eriksson has been assured he will be given funds to spend to strengthen his squad as he bids to navigate City out of the relegation places and up the table.

The Foxes have capitalised on Portsmouth's inability to agree a suitable deal with Spurs for the England Under-21 international, who moved to White Hart Lane from Sheffield United two years ago.
