Sven Goran Eriksson insists Zlatan Ibrahimovic isn't at Manchester United for one final pay-day.
Eriksson, now coaching Shanghai SIPG in the Chinese Super League, believes that's so far wide of the mark it's laughable.
“People who say that don't know Zlatan," said Eriksson to the Mirror.
“He would never have signed for United if he didn't feel it was a challenge he could meet. Also you cannot ignore his relationship with Jose Mourinho. They have been together before and you cannot imagine he would sign him on sentiment.
“He must believe Zlatan can still perform at the very highest level, and I am absolutely certain he can and will.
“Zlatan still feels he has a lot to offer and I am certain he will make a big impact for United and on the Premier League."
