Sven Goran Eriksson is keen to tempt Chelsea captain John Terry to Shanghai SIPG.
Terry revealed on Sunday night that he won't be handed an extension to his current deal, which expires in June, and will be ending his 22-year spell at Stamford Bridge.
The London Evening Standard says the Chinese Super League are also determined to bring big names over to improve the competition, with Jiangsu Suning paying Chelsea £25m to buy Ramires only a few days ago.
Chinese sides will see Terry, who took a personal tour of the country during the 2015 close season, as a major coup.
His former England coach Eriksson is currently in charge of Shanghai SIPG and will be tempted to make an approach.
